Gastroenterologist
Dr George Marinos has
many years of experience as Consultant Gastroenterologist. He has extensive experience in treating and managing acute hospital inpatients as well as office based ambulatory outpatients.
Dr Marinos is also a VMO at the Prince of Wales Public Hospital (Gastrointestinal and Liver Unit & Billington Centre) and a Senior Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of NSW. Dr Marinos is the supervisor of endoscopic training at Prince of Wales Hospital.
Dr Marinos founded and is the Medical Director of the Infusion Clinic, Australia’s first open access infusion service for medically referred patients. He is also the a director of The Breath Test Lab, Randwick, a diagnostic service for the investigation of carbohydrate intolerances using hydrogen and methane breath testing, and is a medical advisor to the Australian Breath Analysis Laboratory (ABAL) on using C13 (non radioactive) Urea Breath Tests in the diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori.
